![]() ![]() Everything at the Jamboree takes an incredible amount of planning. The OA usually holds a seminar or planning session a year before the Jamboree. Sometimes at National Conferences, or just at meetings. I say it every Jamboree and every Jamboree it’s true, the OA was everywhere providing Cheerful Service. |

At previous Jamborees, especially in recent years I’ve
commented about the amazing program and other opportunities at the
Jamborees. In the past Scouts were content to camp by the ocean in
California or on the plains of Colorado, or at State Parks. Modern
youth are different, swimming opportunities are everywhere, tying
knots and passing tests can be fun for only so long. Youth join
Scouting for the promise of adventure and modern Scout leaders work
hard to provide what we promote. I’m not showing many images of the action and activity centers for 2017, I showed so many for 2013. 2017 didn’t appear any different. But, the centers were amazing and well attended. |
