| Wearing Region patches was optional by units. Four patches. pins and belt buckles were official, available in the pre-Jamboree catalog. Other items were probably private issue. |

Interest in pis in recient Jamborees had been declining but, the four BSA Regions made them for 2010 |

| The Trading Posts were a constant hub of activity. From a cold drink and a sandwich to patches and clothing, hats, souvenir's, etc. Being the 100th Anniversary there seemed to be more commemorative items than usual, knives, pen sets, etc. The Jamboree jacket didn’t have a jacket patch on it. Although there were several large patches available. |

A Piece of my Mind After the Jamboree a questionnaire was mailed to staff and I believe adult leaders asking or general feedback about the Jamboree. Individuals that responded received the patch to the left. |
![]() Jamboree Today covered what was happening. Excellent articles with color images. Every cover featured a throw back image of Scouts from previous Jamborees. Some of the images used here are from Jamboree Today. Boys Life Magazine provided a Guide with an excellent color map, shown to the right. |

In the last Jamboree Today the new Summit was introduced. The amount of funding was astonishing, many active Scouters, at the time, questioned if the project could be completed. But, National BSA was committed to the ongoing Jamboree experience. In 2023 the wisdom of the project still seems is in question. |
| The 100th Anniversary |

2010 was the 100th anniversary of the BSA there are dozens of items
that were issued for the anniversary that often have little or
nothing to do with the Jamboree, Although in some cases they may
have been sold at the Jamboree Trading Posts. As I did for 1960 and 1985, I’m highlighting a few of these items so if you come across them in 2010 Jamboree collections, you can identify them. Some Scout collectors seek out anniversary items as a separate field of collecting. |
